Maintenance Technician
Description
- Work with experienced personnel and on-site maintenance crew.
- Visit commercial and residential maintenance sites on a weekly basis.
- Practice fundamental maintenance practices: mowing, edging, and weed control.
- Make use of new equipment and use some pesticides and herbicides.
- Learn the importance of proper design and installation, which simplifies the maintenance process.
- Work with Horticulturist to learn proper pruning techniques for different plant species.
- Maintain perennials and practice proper deadheading and plant clean up.
- Learn to layout and install annual flower beds.
- Learn the importance of soil amending, fertilizing and watering for annuals.
Qualifications
- Any level of higher education in the Landscape Industry preferred.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual willing to step in and take control of various situations.
- Prefer individuals who have a strong desire to learn all phases of the Design/Build/Maintenance industry.
- Willingness to learn and work with a small company and progress through their growth.

Landscape Technician
Description
- Work with Registered Landscape Architect.
- Prepare landscape bed layout and assist in site analysis.
- Practice proper bed preparation techniques.
- Assist in nursery plant material selection and plant layout.
- Be involved in planting, staking, fertilizing, mulching and watering.

- Any level of higher education in the Landscape Industry preferred.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual willing to step in and take control of various situations.
- Prefer individuals who have a strong desire to learn all phases of the Design/Build/Maintenance industry.
