M.J. Design Associates is a small Landscape firm (Design, Build and Maintenance) that caters to a “high end” clientele that expects custom work and attention. With that being said, we are very customer service driven. The customer is always right is our motto and we strive to provide the little extras that separate us from our competition. We are small, hardworking bunch that work together for the common good to get the job done correctly. M.J. Design Associates positions themselves in the market as professionals in our field. As a result, a professional appearance at any property is always important to us. 

Our owners, Molly and Joel John, have a strong belief in giving back to the landscape community. We encourage students to come visit our office and talk about the opportunities the landscape profession has to offer. We usually hire one or two interns from either The Ohio State University's Horticulture program or Columbus State’s Landscape program each summer. We give students the opportunity to see all aspects of a small detailed oriented landscape design-build business. Employees are trained to use various pieces of equipment and proper handling of everyday chemicals.
