Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a minor holiday in Mexico—which celebrates the Mexican army's victory over France during the France-Mexican War.
Even though this can be more of an American tradition, we try to find reasons to help commemorate the Mexican culture. This year, with the wet weather, we moved up the celebration to May 3rd and went to La Herradura Mexican Restaurant in Dublin. The staff enjoyed good Mexican food while staying dry for a change!
