AmericanHort, the leading national association for the green industry, focuses on greenhouses, nursery growers, retailers, distributors, interior and exterior landscapers, florists, student educators, researchers and manufacturers. Their annual event, Cultivate, was held in Columbus back in mid-July. Cultivate attracts thousands of industry professionals and visitors from all over the world.
This year, AmericanHort approached M.J. Design to host a tour of our facility and a couple of our clients’ residences. We were happy to host over 60 guests who choose to attend the tour! It was great to be able to have conversations on staffing, using the H2B process, creating your niche in the landscape arena, and the many ways to recycle.
Attendees were then bussed to two of our clients’ properties in Tartan Fields. Here they had the opportunity to see our designs come to life. They were able to speak with the clients, ask us questions about the installation processes, as well as talk about our use of different plants and our continued maintenance practices.
We especially want to thank our M.J. crews who went above and beyond working that morning in the pouring rain to make sure the sites and our gardens were pristine for the event. Thank you, M.J. Design staff, we could not have done it without you. Gracias!
