At M.J. Design, we encourage our staff to continue expanding their learning through classes, trade shows, and professional tours where they find new tactics to help us continue to provide excellent service. Many of the Ohio Department of Agriculture licenses require continued education to ensure they are current with all new regulations.
In July, Molly & Amanda attended the Cultivate show. Cultivate is put on by American Hort and is the premier event for the entire horticulture industry. The event attracts more than 10,000 industry professionals from all 50 states and over 30 countries! They learned where plants start from breeders, propagators and hybridizers. Once a plant is selected, they move to growers and nurseries. We then get to come and pick them out and plant them in your landscaping.
Also recently, Michael Davie & Kelly took a field trip with 25 other people to tour a large corporate environment where they learned ideas and efficiencies to help manage and grow our organization.
